Vax took a moment to try and study Alcuin for greater insight than before. Alcuin was certainly graceful, and unassuming in manner, but he didn't strike Vax'ildan as a fellow tradesman. He was too distinctively pretty, for one, and he didn't move like a bound shadow, for another.
